There’s no excuse for poor logo design…
There are a number of online logo design sites around. Believe me, I did my research when we decided to start Logotastic - and there are plenty of ways to get a logo. However, do keep in mind that your logo is the graphic for your corporate identity, your brand. A brand strategy communicates your values, your products and services, your ethos, your culture - and consistently communicates this.
The logo is a mere graphical representation of all of that. You don’t start with a graphic - you should consider what goes behind the graphical representation of your brand:
- What are your business objectives
- Who is your target audience
- Where are they located - globally, locally
- What are your core values
- How do you want to come across to your prospective audience
- What message do you want to convey
- What do your competitors look like
- What platforms/materials will your graphical representation be used on
- How do you stand out in a crowd
- Is there anything unique about what you provide / do
